Meet Teresa.
Teresa Mast has called Sarasota home since age 13. She is currently President of the Davin Group, a female majority-owned general contracting company she has managed for over thirty years. Teresa is no stranger to county business: she is a member and former chair of the Sarasota County Planning Commission. She has also served as the Vice Chair of the Citizen’s Tax Oversight Committee and spent a decade working in Sarasota County’s Planning and Development Services, Neighborhood Services, and Economic Development.
Teresa’s connections to the construction industry run deep. She is a member of the Building Industry Association board and the founding Chair of the Professional Women in Building Council. She has been honored with the Woman of the Year Award from the National Association of Home Builders. Her husband, Jon Mast, has been the CEO of the Manatee-Sarasota Building Industry Association since 2015.
Teresa Mast holds a bachelor’s degree from Eckerd College. She and her husband Jon celebrate 39 years of marriage. Together, they have two married daughters and a five-year-old grandson. Teresa’s family and community values are inspired by her faith and her father’s example as a pastor.
